h2o1__medium350If you have a water heater in your home, you will want to read about the new Department of Energy (DOE) National Appliance Energy Conservation Act (NAECA) minimum efficiency standards on residential water heaters in the U.S., effective April 16, 2015.

Now is the time to consider replacing your water heater, especially if it is nearing 10 years old.  There is speculation in the industry that available stock of units that do not meet the new energy efficiency ratings may begin dwindling at the end of 2014. When new units are manufactured that meet the new regulations, we anticipate price increases.
